These terms cover this website and the bookkeeping services of Conejo Business Services ("we", "us"). If you become a client, you will also sign an engagement letter that sets out your services and fees. If anything in your engagement letter differs from these terms, the engagement letter applies.
Our services
We provide bookkeeping services for small businesses and individuals. Your engagement letter lists exactly what we will do for you. We do not prepare tax returns or give tax, legal or investment advice, and we do not perform audits.
Fees and billing
Your fees, and when you are billed, are set out in your engagement letter.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time by emailing [email protected]. Your service ends 30 days after we receive your email, and fees for work done up to that date remain due. We can also end our service by giving you 30 days' written notice.
Refunds
Fees for work we have already done are not refundable, unless the law requires a refund. If we charge you by mistake, we will refund the mistaken amount. To ask for a refund, email [email protected].
This website
The public pages of this website give general information about our business. They are not tax, legal or financial advice. We are not responsible for losses caused by relying on them, except where the law does not allow us to limit our responsibility.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Changing this page never changes your signed engagement letter.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
